The lobby of the Empire State Building. One of the tallest buildings in New York, it derives its name from the state nickname, "Empire State".

The Statue of Liberty on Liberty Island in the Hudson River, between the US states of New York and New Jersey. This statue is the larger version of the model in France (link here) and the small replica in Las Vegas (link here).
